Hands On History Class November 2010

Hiatory classes


The Museum teaches "Hands On History Classes" to groups of students. If you have a group interested in these classes contact the Museum about scheduling by sending email to the Director. Many skills like butter churning, cooking on a wood stove, cabin and yard cleaning are taught. Learn to make brooms and mops plus many other daily tasks of early Alabama life.

Pioneer Days October 2010 Celebration

Surgerns


Pioneer Days is celebrated at the Museum each October and our offerings continue to grow each year. See all sorts of early pioneer life typical of this area. This is the sesquicentennial of the Civil War so you will see many things related to the war like the scene at the right. For information on participating in this celebration contact the Museum Director.
